18Micon Street Hotel

18Micon Street Hotel is in the central area of Athens, Greece. This creative and modern home is on 18 Micon Street, near pedestrian alleys and neoclassical houses. That is so, that its name comes from the street and it refers to Mikon, a 5th century BC Athenian painter and sculptor.

An ex workshop transformed in a modern space, the hotel  has cement, wood, and brick elements, to honour the history of the district.

18Micon Street Hotel offers individually designed rooms with industrial materials, greek style tiles and colourful wallpapers. All have handcrafted furniture from local artists and industrial-style windows. The junior suites have an extra bed and the urban suites have a private patio with jacuzzi.

Every morning, guests can enjoy the breakfast buffet with local delights at the lobby of the hotel. They can also relax at the Decompression Lounge, a sitting area at the entrance.

The hotel is a short walk away from Monastiraki Square and its famous flea market. Moreover, 20-minutes walk away, travellers can visit the Acropolis Museum and refresh memory of ancient Greek history.
