Castello di Vicarello: experience of a lifetime

The traditional stone castle was built in 1112 and since 1978 has been the holiday house of Aurora e Carlo Baccheschi Berti, the two owners. Castello di Vicarello was converted into a luxury retreat in 2003 becoming a charming residence for a romantic and revitalize journey or for exploring the medieval cities around.

The 7 different rooms and suites (Chinese Room, Deluxe Grotta, Suite Sprone, Suite Giardino Segreto, Suite Vicario, Suite I Sassi, Suite Villa Chiesina) are all with a different style and furnished with amazing piece of contemporary art, antiques, 50’ and 70’ design pieces and decorative elements from every corner of the world.

The kitchen offers home cooked Tuscan meals based on local ingredients and the hotel has its own organic vine and olive oil production. Guests can spend time outside in the garden, at the edge of the two swimming pools or enjoy the exclusive wellness centre with Sauna, steam bath, outdoor Jacuzzi and a variety of massages. Castello di Vicarello offers 4 different daily yoga classes provided by an authentic Indian yoga master from Kerala, tailor made cooking classes to learn how to make fresh pasta bread or focaccia and wine tasting with tour of vineyards. Castello di Vicarello is also the perfect place to celebrate a romantic wedding with close friends or for a large party.
