A charming house: Don Ferrante

Don Ferrante, a boutique hotel set in the old centre of Monopoli (Puglia region) in Italy, once upon a time was a fort. It was restored maintaining the original style, becoming a unique location overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

The hotel has beautiful terraces surrounded by white chimneys, and here guests can lie and enjoy the Mediterranean sun.

The comfort “dimore” (rooms) are fully equipped and elegantly furnished and have white handmade ceramics. The suite Don Ferrante, with a balcony facing the sea, has exclusive furniture, a living room and fireplace. Moreover, the Suite Jacuzzi is on two levels and has a stone Jacuzzi tub with chromo therapy.

The restaurant Locanda Don Ferrante, an old gunpowder cellar built in the 16th century, offers regional recipes and a large choice of wines. For example, for breakfast guests can try homemade pastries, local cheese and fresh fruits.

Don Ferrante has a Lounge terrace with an amazing view and a Solarium. Here guests enjoy the sun, read a book or relax at the pool. Moreover, the team of the hotel can organise beauty and body treatments.

Travellers visiting the hotel can request support for daily trips to visit the old town of Monopoli or tailor made itineraries to nearby cultural hot spots. The hotel also proposes food, wine and oil tastings and cooking classes.
