Longen-Schlöder Guest Houses are simple and modern cottages on the Longen-Schlöder Winery, in Longuich village (Germany) in the Moselle Valley .
The owners (Longen family) expanded the Vineyard Estate, adding unique guest rooms for a special experience. They had the support of the Italian architect Matteo Thun, well known for his holistic and sustainable approach. Longen-Schlöder Guest Houses offer 20 cabins surrounded by rose and herb gardens. Each studio cabin has timber furnishings, a full-height wall separating the sleeping area from the bathroom, large glass doors and small wooden terrace.
The Moselle Valley, with its mild climate, is ideal for the production of unique fruity wines. As a result, the Longen family produces and sells world-class white and sparkling wines (Riesling) from generation. The Vineria restaurant, also designed by Matteo Thun, has a beautiful view of the vineyards. The restaurant offers breakfast and a dinner menus with fresh local produce and a selection of wines from the cellar. In addition, the estate is also a venue for art exhibitions, culinary tasting and other events related to wine.
Above all, thanks to the proximity to France and Luxembourg WeinKulturgut Longen-Schlöder is perfect as starting point to discover the wine region, enjoy wine tasting and visit historic sites. The Mosel Valley, for example, is home to impressive Roman remains, Museums and beautiful palaces and Abbey. It also offers premium hiking routes and kilometres of cycling paths.
