The River House is a B&B on the West cost of Mauritius , is inside a tropical garden and near a tranquil river.
The 8 rooms and suits of the house have traditional Mauritian–style, with antique four-poster beds, wooden decors. In addition, all the rooms have private veranda in front of the river.
Guests can have their breakfast, with local produces, on the spacious veranda or on the tables in the garden beside the river. Moreover, they can spend time outside in the pool or reading a book from the library. Furthermore, the B&B offers the possibility to have a therapeutic massage in front of the river.
Nearby the River House, it is possible to go snorkelling or surfing in the crystal-blue Indian Ocean. For example, Tamarin Bay beach is close by the hotel. This beach is one of the best spot in Mauritius for surfing and it is well known for this sport since the 70s.
Secondarily, the area includes other activities like fishing, paddle boarding, kite surfing and golf. Different restaurants, from Asiatic to European, are available around the B&B.
