The vintage B&B QUARTOPIANO

A charming Bed and Breakfast, Quartopiano, is in a quiet street some steps away from the centre of Modena, Italy. A fascinating city, well known as the land of motors and slow food, Modena has graceful historic centre. Moreover, tourists can try the traditional balsamic vinegar and the local specialities.

The B&B is on the 4th floor of a traditional building, completely renovated. In fact, guests will enjoy an amazing view of Modena rooftops.

The two owners, Antonio and Alessandro, selected carefully every detail and decor of the house. They choose vintage furniture, objects and small elements found in vintage markets, during their travels.

The 2 rooms of the B&B, Atleta and Guerriero, with private bathrooms, are in vintage and Provence style. As a result, the two spaces have all with walls, aged country French furnishings and old books.

Guests can rest in the living room and read a book from the library, while listening to music. Breakfast is served on the “Altana” roof terrace and country-style kitchen. They offer freshly baked cakes, honey and homemade marmalades and a selection of teas. In addition, the owners are happy to welcome guests to their bar/restaurant Mon Café for lunch or dinner.

Quartopiano is in a excellent position to discover Modena’s Romanesque style monuments like the Ghirlandina Tower, Piazza Grande, and the Cathedral. Moreover, for all cars’ lovers, this city is the car capital of Italy. Travellers can visit Ferrari Museums, Pagani and Maserati and the Umberto Panini Collection of vintage cars.
