Elegant palace: Riad Laaroussa

Riad Laaroussa is an elegant 17th-century palace, in the heart of the Fez Medina in Morocco.  Built around the XVII century, the hotel opened in 2006 by Fred Sola, his wife Cathy and his brother Thierry.

It is an authentic riad with a central courtyard garden and around all the guests’ rooms. For instance, the central area is perfect to relax under orange trees or near the fireplace. Moreover guests can relax and swim in a unique setting, enjoying the heated pool.

It has 8 spacious rooms and suites with colourful moroccan tiles, carved wood furniture and vivid fabrics. Some of the suites have a lounge area and fireplace.

In the Bistro Laaroussa and the Moroccan restaurant, guests can taste light Mediterranean meal or authentic home made menu. Moreover, the rooftop terrace is perfect to enjoy the Moroccan cuisine and the breathtaking view of Fez. In addition, the riad supports the local wine producers, offering a selection of exclusive Moroccan wines.

Riad Laaroussa has a huge kitchen and here the chef organises cooking classes. For example, guests can discover the Fassi cuisine and learn how to prepare traditional dishes.

Spa Laaroussa offers a unique experience with authentic hammam and relaxing massages. The hammam is an authentic Moroccan stream room with Carrara marble. Guests will receive aromatic body scrub and facial mask. Moreover, the team proposes traditional massages.
