Elegant palace: Riad Laaroussa

Riad Laaroussa is an elegant 17th-century palace, built around the XVII century, in the heart of the Fez Medina, an ancient Imperial city in Morocco. The hotel was opened in 2006 by Fred Sola, his wife Cathy and his brother Thierry. It is an authentic riad with a central courtyard garden, where guests can relax in the shade of the orange trees, that is surrounded by rooms and living areas with fireplaces.

The Riad Laaroussa has 8 spacious rooms and suites (Green Suite, Orange Suite, Grey Suite, Cream Suite, Red Room, Yellow Room, Blue Room, Little Brown Room), a terrace and lounge area with a breathtaking view of Fez. The bar and the huge kitchen serve traditional home-style Moroccan cuisine with local food from organic producers, offer a selection of exclusive Moroccan wines and cooking classes. Spa Laaroussa, in the riad, is a private Moroccan hammam, a stream room decorated with Carrara marble, and offers a selection of relaxing massages.
