Ruschmeyers is a seasonal guesthouse near the ocean, in the village of Montauk, Long Island New York. It is in a lakeside tree-covered areas and the village is the perfect getaway to escape the stressful New York City. For instance, visitors can enjoy beaches and delicious seafood.
Originally built in 1952, the hotel now is a modern stylish summer camp. The 19 cabin guestrooms (standard, deluxe and suites) have cedar-planked walls, simple wood furniture, Moroccan rugs and colourful textiles. Each room has a hammock chair and an outdoor area with grill. Moreover, the some have a living room with convertible daybed.
The restaurant at Ruschmeyers has internal and external spaces and serves a seafood menu made from fresh local ingredients. In addition, this space can be also used for meetings, events or romantic weddings.
