Serenity at Relais dell’Abbazia

Relais dell’Abbazia is in an original building in a section of an old Benedictine complex. It is just a few steps from the centre of Verona, Italy. Moreover, this B&B is really close to Piazza delle Erbe, the historical market square. It is nearby cafes, boutiques and gorgeous baroque style buildings.

Françoise and Franco, the owners, created a sweet and homely place with antique furniture and lovely country-style elements.

Relais dell’Abbazia has two floors. In fact, on the ground floor there is a large kitchen, where guests enjoy breakfast in the morning. Secondly, a living room with fireplace, and on the first floor there are the guests’ rooms. They offer 3 rooms (David, Gaia and Ludovico) each with parquet, fireplace, small balcony, 19th-century furniture and English design pieces.

The outdoor garden, a green corner full of flowers, is perfect for a relaxing break after a day around the city. Above all, during spring and summer breakfast is served outside.

For instance, Verona is one of the most touristic destinations in Italy. Well known for its history, culture, music events and good food. This city is acclaimed for the “Arena” the Roman amphitheater still in use for opera performances and concerts.

The strategic location of the B&B is perfect to reach Verona’s attractions, the shop district or to attend an opera in the Arena. The B&B offers the opportunity to organise private tours, wine tasting and itineraries to discover the region.
