The Sydney vibe: Paddington Markets

Since 1973 Paddington Markets take place every Saturday from 10am to 4pm and bi monthly with special events, in the Paddington district of Sydney, Australia.

Paddington is trendy area of Sydney, full of boutiques, art galleries and cafes. The market, run by a no profit organization that started as an exposition to support local designers, artists and artisans, has become an institution. Now there are more then 150 unique stands expose Australian fashion, accessories, jewelry and crafted products.

Local producers offer a range of food (fresh bread, chocolate, organic fruit and vegetables, meats, wine, honey, oils and herbs & spices) or Asiatic, Thai and Japanese cuisine. It is a great opportunity for the public to buy from local producers and learn more about what is available in the area.

Visitors buying products from Paddington Markets contribute to support homeless and disadvantaged through the Eddie Dixon Centre, providing a warm meal.

The market is a perfect place to go shopping, spending time with friends, have a coffee or resting under the trees listening live music.
